We have over 200 locomotives, including more than 100 electric locomotives, most of which meet the requirements of sustainable transport. We offer a wide range of rolling stock, including modern multi-system locomotives for international transport. In response to market demand, we are dynamically expanding our fleet of modern locomotives. In 2020, 100% of shares in CARGOUNIT were acquired by the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund advised by Amber Infractructure Group.
For more than 20 years, we have been working with more than 50 Polish and international carriers and leading European rolling stock manufacturers.
Locomotive leasing services offered by CARGOUNIT are used by carriers in the fuel, energy, chemical and construction materials industries as well as by intermodal operators. CARGOUNIT focuses mainly on development in Poland and other countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
COMPANY HISTORY
The company was founded in 2003 and in 2012 launched activities in locomotive leasing business. Initially, CARGOUNIT’s business activities focused on acquiring used locomotives. Currently, the Company is dynamically acquiring modern rolling stock from leading manufacturers such as SIEMENS, ALSTOM, NEWAG and PESA.
