The project involves the purchase of 10 brand new, multi-system traction locomotives adapted for intermodal transport in Europe. The project will also include information and promotional activities. The purchased rolling stock will be leased to railway carriers providing transport services on international routes with their starting or ending point in Poland or running through the territory of the Republic of Poland.
The objective of the project is to increase the share of rail in intermodal transport by transferring part of road transport to rail transport. This will reduce emissions and improve the environmental efficiency of the transport system.
Achieving the direct objective will also enable the achievement of the objectives arising from the existing transport problem:
– Increasing the availability of modern rolling stock;
– Reducing road transport congestion
– Improving the energy and environmental efficiency of transport;
– Maximising the potential of the intermodal transport market in Poland and Europe.

Irregularities can be reported:

or
- in paper form – the report should be sent to the following address: CUPT, Plac Europejski 2, 00-844 Warsaw, with the note: ‘Report of irregularities’ on the envelope

Principles guiding our consideration of submitted reports
1. Reports may be made anonymously – such reports will be investigated, but in the case of incomplete reports where it is not possible to contact the person making the report to obtain additional information, there is a risk that the report cannot be investigated.
2. All reports are protected from disclosure to unauthorised persons. The report will be received by a designated employee of the Control and Audit Department. The data of the reporting person is protected during and after the proceedings, and the persons reviewing the report refrain from identifying the person who submitted the report of irregularities anonymously.
3. All reports will be carefully considered in accordance with CUPT’s internal procedures and generally applicable laws.
